I signed up for a 12 month individual lease at an apartment complex for a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom apartment. However, 2 of the people who are supposed to be living here have not showed up. As far as I know they are under lease as well. We recently got our first electricity overage, and I'm required to pay 1/4 of the overage. I'm just wondering if I could be held liable for any amount that doesn't get paid (due to the absence of 2 of the roommates), even though I've already paid my share.

Presumably, if two people aren't there, the overage belongs to you and your roommate. The two people who aren't there didn't use the electricity, after all.
