Hi all! I am doing a thesis paper pertaining to uncontested divorces and would like to do an informal poll. If I can get at least 10 of you to answer the following questions as accurately and as honestly as possible I'd greatly appreciate it. Only answer if your divorce was uncontested EG. Neither spouse claimed a wrong-doing in the marriage and divorce was granted due to irreconcilable differences, incompatibility etc.
1-state divorced in
2-age at time of marriage...and divorce
3-# of children born during marriage
4-years/months married
5-YES or NO...Was marriage counseling attempted before filing for divorce?
6-If yes to #5...How long did marriage counseling last? (ie...1 week, 1 time etc)
7-Do you believe that states that allow uncontested divorces make it too easy for couples to give up on a marriage?
