What is the name of your state? Ohio Ive been working through a temporary service for several months and now just two weeks before I am do to be hired full time I developed a hernia while on the job. I'm afraid if I report it they not only not hire me but probably let me go altogether. I have'nt been to a doctor yet but judging by the pain and the way it looks I will likely need surgery. What should I do?

It's illegal for you to be fired or otherwise disciplined for filing a WC claim. However, I don't know whether that applies only to the temp agency (your actual employer) or also to the company you're placed with. You can probably get a free consult with a WC lawyer. But don't wait too long - it will only get worse if you keep working while injured.
