Hi,
First time here, I appreciate any info/suggestions any can offer.

While working with my father splitting wood at his camp, he struck a splitting wedge with a sledge hammer sending a shard of steel into my eye. I don't have medical insurance at the moment, and his claim to his insurance company for liability was denied because I reside at the same residence as him.
This residence was not where the injury occurred, it was at his camp, but apparantly that does not matter?

Any thoughts? Am I out of luck? Does it matter if I was being paid for my work?

Thanks for any suggestions/thoughts, I will likely speak with an attorney locally, but as I am laid up at the moment, thought I would do a bit of research here.

Thanks,
