Hello,
I am a 3rd year college student. When I was in 10th grade, we played many sports in gymclass in the gym. One of them being soccer. As we played, I was tripped and landed face-first on the end cement wall and broke 3 teeth down the gumline. I went through approximately 2 years of dental treatment to take care of the problems that arose inluding root canals and teeth replacement. Would this be grounds for a lawsuit with respect to the school not providing a sufficient area for these indoor activities(padded walls, etc)? Please respond to [email protected]. thank you. Dave

My response:

I wish you had told us your State. However, from the way you describe your gym activities, it's a sure bet you didn't go to school in the West; sounds like Mid-west to East. You may have had a strong case, if you acted sooner. Most State Limitiation Statutes run out 1 year after the age of 18. As a third year college student, it's also a sure bet that you're now over age 19.

Sorry, amigo. But, I think you're out of the horse race.
