Hello,

I recently got a ticket for operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspections. Is there anything about being post compliant in the law regarding this ticket? I appeared in court today for the ticket and got the inspection taken care of beforehand but have to appear in court on the date the letter they are sending me. I purchased the vehicle April 15th if that helps.

Thank you,

Formerly, there is no "fix-it" process on an expired sticker in Pa (a equipment violation gives you five days). You can certainly bring proof you corrected and see if the judge will extend some leniency, but the fine is only $25 (but the commonwealth will add all sorts of ambulance, victims of crime, etc... fees to bring it over $100).

No points for this.
