What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I had an insurance policy with an endorsement to cover $9,000 in jewelry which was for a ring and a watch which I gave appraisals for at the time of binder. They say I have two rings scheduled and no watch. They have no backup, appraisals or any documentation in my agent's file. I have all documentation.

Isn't this a valid "Bad Faith Claim" and could I sue without a lawyer?

My response:

What have you done to demonstrate to them that you are, in fact, insured for these items and why, if you did show them, didn't you mention it in your initial post?

Did I show documentation

Yes, of course, I have sent them documentation almost montly since the claim began in January 2003. I have appraisals on both my watch and ring and sales slip on watch and policy with areas which state they have "attachments detailing jewelry" maintained in my company file.

I didn't mention it in my original post as I was limited to a certain amount of letters and had to cut down my post. I did mention in my initial post that I had all documentation!!!!

This is all a paper trail case, in my opinion. I have all my paperwork and they admittedly have nothing in their files to support their contention that the jewelry that is covered is two rings.
