What is the name of your state? Utah
Have been insured with same co for 7 years, no claims, always paid on time.
Last year our our address changed from a box # to street address. I thought I made all the change of addresses but missed this. It only comes once a year. When I realized I had not recieved the bill I called the agent. I was cancelled for nonpayment. The agent said no problem, we will reissue. I paid and 2 months later was cancelled for for not being previously insured! My agent told me to go somewhere else and say I just bought house. I am not comfortable with that. Now I have no insurance. House is paid for.
How can I get insured?

Just go buy some. The companies will probably ask if you are currently insured, and answer honestly. I can't tell if you are still insured, or if the new policy has already cancelled. If you let this one cancel, that's YOUR fault. You might have a higher premium for awhile, but you can still get coverage. It shouldn't be a big deal to get it.
