What is the name of your state? kentucky.
we are insured by state farm and want to know if home owners ins provide for a diminished value claim. we had a fire, did not burn all the way. they are in the process of repairing. in this state we are required to disclose any property damage or repairs to said real estate. in doing so it will be hard to sell and possibly a loss involved at the time of sale. any provisions in protecting myself for possible future sale? what is the ins companys liability?

thank you
steve
