We recently suffered tornado damage to our home. A claim was settled and we cashed the check for damages related to a fence shared by our neighboor. The Ins Co. several weeks later came back and asked us to return the settlement because the assessment of damage was in error?!
Do we have to give the money back?
By the insurance Co. paying the claim does that confer a contract?
