In February of this year, I was injured in an automobile accident, passenger. Vehicle was heavily damaged and the at fault drivers' insurance company paid for damage to vehicle. However, after months of physical therapy, mri's, cat scans and finally cervical fusion surgery, during which time I have been unable to work, this company is ignoring my requests that they pay medical bills. They have stated that their insured has a 20,000 limit. My medical bills alone are double that amount to date. My personal health insurance has paid some, the vehicle I was in ( driver's insurance has paid some ) but I'm looking at quite a bit left to pay out of pocket. What alternative do I have at this point ? Is this company liable ? Am I wrong to believe they should reimburse my personal health insurance company for what they have already paid on my behalf ?

You need to hire a personal injury attorney that knows the law and can force the insurance company to communicate and settle.
