What is the name of your state? california
i had my baby in a kaiser hospital with kaiser insurance. the hospital waited until one year later to send the bill to my insurance company. the policy of my insurance company is that the bill must be submitted to them within 6 months of services rendered. Kaiser says they have the right to bill whenever they want to and now the $14,000 bill has gone to collections and is ruining my credit! I do not feel responsible for this bill since it was Kaiser's fault for not billing in a timely manner. Help!
