My nephew is 16 and has a child on the way. Will it be possible for my sister (his mom) to put the baby on their insurance if they have joint custody of the baby? He still lives at home and the baby is due in May.
Any help would be appreciated......thank you

She needs to call her insurance provider. Paternity will not be established until after the child is born, and the insurance will likely not cover anything until he is declared the legal father.
