What is the name of your state?illinois. is a member of the marine corps required by law, or the military to carry auto insurance ? if he is involved in a dui fatality,and is not carrying coverage, who's responsible ?

Simple answer

The member of the marine corps. It's the same as the state...You're required by state to carry insurance...If you do not, it falls on you for full coverage of any damage you cause by your vehicle.

Even in an overseas area, the military member is required to carry auto insurance. It doesn't change for the States. He is FULLY responsible for all damages and felony charges.
