Im in indiana...
In 2003 I had a tralier fire do to the top of my cig. fallen off, i look for it and thought i found it(black ash on the kitchen floor-i made sure it was not buring and cleaned it up) went to bed. About 15min. later I noticed the bedroom light was on,well it was not the light it was a fire.I used the mini fire extinguisher I had in my house then 1 min. later called the 911.It was found by the fire department to be an accident.Well here it is 2006(they filled there lawsuit in 2004 but i got served with it this year?) and the Ins.Company who paid the landlord of the trailer the insurence money are Suing me and My 7YR OLD. DAUGHTER for negligence!! How are they suing my 7yr. old who at the time was 4 and in bed when i noticed the fire?.I contacted the Lawyer for the Ins. Company who is suing me and my 7Yr. old and will not return my calls. Wow it is nice to know in the State of Indiana Ins.Companys are so low with there Lawyers they try to sue Little Kids! What is Ins. for if they try to sue everyone who has a accident.I would understand if i feel asleep with the cig. or something like that but i didn't...is what happen negligence?
