What is the name of your state?Louisiana

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not and I've never wrote to one of these before so please bear with me. I'm trying to find out about website businesses. Can you file a suit for damages if 2 persons come to your message board on your website, and begin typing very harmful remarks about your business, such as fragrances not being any good - watered down, etc., when they are clearly advertised that they are not. The remarks were not normal "just bad" type remarks. They were very viscious, knowing they would very well hurt my business. My rules for my message board at the beginning of my message board clearly state that "no harmful" messages will be tolerated. They were deleted but not until 3 days later.(when I found it) I fully believe these 2 persons are going all over the internet saying these things about our business. I ran off a copy of it before I deleted it. I would like to know what legal rights, if any, website businesses have in cases such as this. Please let me know.
Thanks,

Start screening what can be posted. You can sue anybody for anything at anytime, but it is difficult to see where you suffered any damages.
