The father of my child and I are at odds. I have legal sole custody and he pays child support and is in NC. I’m in CA. When we communicated, it was solely through email. He has changed his email since we’ve been at odds.
I received 2 emails recently, one insinuating that I had or will be having an abortion. Attached to the email was a color picture of a dead fetus.
The first email had a Yahoo address, which i reported. The other one had an AOL address which happened to be my own making it look like i had sent it to myself, making it look as if this person has taken over my account, which i also reported.
I received another email last night, and now a phone call from a plastic surgeon that says I contacted them for their services, which i have not. I can't sleep, and i'm stressed out!
My child's father knows my personal information, he's very computer savey, and in the past has admitted to me that he's done this before. I believe that he's behind this and would like to know if there is any legal action I can take?

What? I don't have an appointment to have an abortion. You didn't get it.

And for the first response- I was asking if i could do anything legal because this goes deeper then the initial thread i posted. I've canceled the email account, now i'll change my phone #? I think your response (advise) should be get a restraining order.

Unless there is a LOT more than what you are stating ...I highly doubt you would be able to get a RO...
