Colorado; My fiance has a child by an ex-girlfriend -D- who has custody. He never married her. When the child was 2, he married another woman -R-. They were together for 4 years, during that time she didn't want his son to visit very often, she didn't have the patience for him. They split up in December of 1999, last Christmas (2000) R gave D presents for him. D told R not to contact them any more. R gave him Valentine's Day presents, and was told again. R called D on Easter Sunday to ask if she could take him to an Easter party.
I am tired of her meddling in my step-son's life when she didn't want to be involved before. Her and my fiance have permanent restraining orders on eachother, so he cannot contact her. My questions are these: Would it be a violation of the restraining order for me to call her on my own behalf? What can I do legally to keep her from contacting D (or her son) whom I have a good relationship with? I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but we are getting married this July, before or after this date is there a difference in violation rules?
Thanks for any help!
