I live in CA. and my father gave me a piece of land in Mexico...I have a buyer who wants to buy it but I was wondering if I will get taxed on this $$ that I receive? The $$ will come from Mexico..

If you are a US citizen or Resident alien,....yes.
If you are a NRA,....no.
