What is the name of your state? Nebraska
I have a close friend in Japan who was arrested and charged with "creating a public disturbance" after trying to break up a fight. He paid a fine and was told this violation would remain on his record. It sounds like it's considered the equivalent of a misdemeanor here in the US. He will be returning to the States in a few months and will be seeking a new job. Will this offense be visible on his record in America? Could it prevent him from getting a job? Also, he will be applying to law school and was wondering if this could affect his chances as well. He's quite worried. If you have any knowledge in this area, please respond. Thank you.
