What is the name of your state? Colorado

I am a member of a 42 Homeowners Assoc.(HOA) and on September 3, 2006 another HOA member alleged that I criminally trespassed his property two different times and threatened my arrest. He made this allegation via a post-script on an e-mail response to the current HOA Board of Directors on his covenant violation and copied it to the other 41 HOA members. In his post-script he alleges that I, Vice President of the HOA at the time, committed criminally trespass in 1999 onto his property when I reviewed his exterior paint color. The second trespass allegation was that I took a picture, on Oct. 7, 2006, of his residence for lack of maintenance from his property. Both allegations are false because as a Board member I was permitted to access the property to review and approve his exterior paint. Second, I took the picture from the street in from of his residence and not from his property. I have now been libeled as a "trespasser" because he sent his allegations by e-mail to the other 41 HOA members. What should I do to clear my name, humiliation and embarrassment resulting from his allegations?

Not much except e-mail a response showing the part in the HOA rules that allows you access to the property for inspection and hope they all just go about their day instead of bothing with you.
