In human medicine, it has become big business to be able to purchase generic equivalents (and also branded drugs) to brand name Rx drugs without requiring an Rx from overseas sources, often located in India.

My question:

What are the U.S. regulations/laws concerning such purchase of veterinary Rx drugs from overseas sources? For the sake of discussion, I'm only referring to the vet drugs that have no effect (or disasterous effect) on humans. For examples, xylazine, Dormosedan, Banamine and Bute (the NSAID).

Im not expert in law,

but i know that there are some things that are counterfeit(generic) that are harmless... but with drugs, NEVER buy generic drugs, especially oversees, and you should never take drugs anyway without a prescription... and the law prohibits the taking of drugs unless they are prescribed to you by a doctor.
