What is the name of your state? California

My website healthtechnologyreview.com is about to go live. I am providing browsers access essentially to a forum on every product on teh market, without the permission of the vendor. The opinons are the property of the user that posts the review in my opinion. Can I get sued for this? Should I ask for permission from every vendor, before allowing reviews to be posted. Is there any legal implication for me simpling having their comapny name, product info and web address on my site?

Thanks

John

Yes. After all, you can be sued for anything, by anyone.

Of course, no one can answer absolutely as we are unable to actually see what you are proposing.
However, if you are simply providing a forum for others to post their opinions.... and if you provide the proper disclaimers, your risk of a potential successful lawsuit against you will be minimized.

Yes. If you are planning on using someone else's copyrighted material, trademark or information on a commercial site (or less likely, non-commercial), you can count on getting a 'cease and desist' order.

Thanks
