i live in arizona, we purchased a new computer and recieved a $400.00 rebate from an i.s.p. for signing up with them for 3 years. in the beginning we were able to connect but within a few weeks we weren't. i contacted the isp and did everything the suggested with no results. this went on for 6 months until i finally talked to a smart person who realized this was a problem and referred me to a level two tech who fixed the problem in less than 10 minuets. i contacted the company to request a credit for the six months i paid for and was unable to use and they would only give me 90 days, and told me that was all they could do and i would not be able to recieve credit for the remaining 3 months. i don't understand why it took six months for them to realize that this was a problem and pass me on to someone who knew what they were doing. if they had done that in the first place i would not have been out 132.00 for 6 months. any advice on if i can get that additional 3 months credited would be great!!!

No service from ISP

You are entitled to the additional 3 months credit. They agreed to provide you a service for the term and they did not; therefore, they are not entitled to compensation for the period there was no service. They can not hold you to the terms of a contract that they breach.
