What is the name of your state? Michigan - I have been working for this internet company that sells advertising for individuals that are trying to sell vehicle. I contact people by phone and the company is located in FL. About a month ago the sales manager told me that the owner of the company took off with all the money and nad now the site has been tarnsferd to a new www address and changed names. Everything on the site was the same including all people who have advertised with us and the forms I filled out to complete sales. Well anyways - a week later I got a call from the owner of the original site and he told me that the employees have hijacked the site and he is now suing them. I am now working for the original site and owner but I feel as though I was lied to by the sales manager. I have lost a ton of money from lost work and other reasons due to this situatuation. My quesstion is - Is it legal for the sales manager to do this? Is there any way I can sue for damages? And in general any other info on this unique situation?
