internet slander/defamation ?

What is the name of your state? Florida

There is a web site owened by a certain individual that has my picture on it and a complete bit about how they think I am ,there are very derogatory words and some are in the sexual content which this person doesn't even know me , this person lives in another state . Can I do something myself ? would this be slander or defamation ?
