So I did this one website. Well they won't give me a password or let me have anything to do with the site. They posted material I asked them not to post. So I got back, I found some forums they talked about me and told people not to go to the site anymore just because I have nothing more to do with the site. Well now they are saying they can get me for slander? Is this true?

Also they have a forum and are posting as me. Is this legal? I only signed a model release form and that was all.

No. First off, slander is oral defamation. If they have any claim at all, it would be for libel, which is WRITTEN defamation.
Second, based SOLELY on your post, what you claim to have said is true... that you are no longer affiliated with their site, and as long as your statements are true, truth is NOT defamation.

There are no statutes to protect your 'identity' on the forum. Simply, delete your 'identity' on that forum and create another one.... with a different password.

'So I did this one website."

You DID a website? What does that mean? Is it like saying, "Oh, I'd DO her in a second."

"Also they have a forum and are posting as me."

How are they posting as you? Are they using your real name?

"I only signed a model release form and that was all."

What's a model release form?
