MISSOURI: I just received notice that my child support modification has been sent to GA where the divorce took place. 3 yrs ago when I asked for modification, the ex ran to his lawyer and they had a modification written up and the judge signed it. I was never notified of court or nor of the modification case presented. Is this legal for him to go to court in his home state and override my states request for modification? How do I find out if the ex is going to go to court to try and do his own modification without me having a say in the whole matter?

Had his attorney challenged the change of jurisdiction at that time? Was jurisdiction legally moved to another state? If HE still resides in GA, GA would normally retain jurisdiction.
