What is the name of your state?NC
When I ask for modification of my support order that was originally granted in Florida, what things can not be modified?
I was in the middle of a modification in Florida, when my ex moved the order to NC.
I was told I would be getting an increase in child support and then my ex was served with notice. He then got an attorney and moved the case to NC.
What happened with the order to modify?
Is it transferred as well as continuing? Does it go before the NC courts?
Is the amount I was told it would increase by--still effective or is it dumped?

There is some incomplete information here. Where are the children first, second who is the primary custodian of the children in question. Usually a state will not take another case when residency has not been established under (6) six months, further with there being pending orders would make one wonder as well. Please answer the other questions.

The children and I reside in NC and have for past 2 years.
I am the Custodial Parent.
He was asking for modification of custody and brought his Fl attorney to child support hearing to motion to move the case to NC.
The hearing judge or officer accepted his arguement on Yurgel V Yurgel ( which I think is out-dated but not sure)
It was appealed by CS attorney because she originally ruled in my favor since his attorney was late then decided to call his attorney and give him time to show up. He was over an hour late for court.
Then changed her ruling and went in his favor. The appeal did not work and the case was moved to NC.
She did not have the power to move more than child support though.
I am very confused--legally.
Child support in NC does not want it and thinks I should register it in Delaware (where he lives) but he works in MD and was served most often there. He is difficult to reach.
