What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

i sold a iphone online and the guy sent me the money western union and i mailed him the phone on the 12th he said he doesnt have yet so he calls me a scammer and calls the the law in my town and sends them to my parents house which is the address i have on me ID because thats where i get my mail....they just asked if i was there and left.....my question is how do i prove he didnt get the phone? and 2 what kinda legal action can he have against me?he is asking for a refund but i dont even have my phone back and i dont know if he is lying or not.....can someone help me with this...thanks

Did you send it with a tracking number (ups etc) he's probably NOT lying.
If you sent it via the above-you would have more confidence.

Western Union + Internet Sale = Scam 99.9% of the time. Simply do not conduct business (either as buyer or seller) using Western Union. How many people need to be ripped off before this is common knowledge?

You can provide him the tracking number which would help in tracking the shipment, if not delivered already. However, point of caution is to refrain from accepting money from WU.
