What is the name of your state? OR

I paid my taxes late for 2006 and incurred penalites & interest amounting to 438 dollars. I contacted them and they agreed to a tax abatement which was then to be calculated at $92.02. I sent the money the same day I talked to them, since then I have recieved 2 notices, the first notice was sent the exact same day my check cleared and informed me that I owed $94.88, i chaulked it up to them not clearing the check. Now I just recieved a notice that tells me I owe $73 dollars & it says they have removed $18 of interest, but I already paid them the $92.02 at the beginning of the month. this makes no sense, can someone please help me compose a response? because I intend on calling them on monday, it seems like they have completely disregarded my check.

Call them on Monday. See what they have to say, THEN come back and ask for advice if you think that you still need advice.
