What is the name of your state? Virginia

My husband owes federal back taxes, he has a pretty good idea of how much he owes and how much the interest would possibly be, other than having to call the IRS, which we've been told never to do, does anyone know if there is a way to find out from the IRS website how much a person owes them? Thanks

No...the info is not available on the IRS website. Think of the potential hacking opportunities if that kind of information could be accessed online??

He should be getting letters from the IRS regularly regarding his balance. So why doesn't he know from that?
