Is 26 too old for a 17 year old? There is only one possible answer to that question. YES!!!

I don't give a damn if it is technically legal or not. There is only one reason a 26 year old is looking for a 17 year old and it's not one I want to post on a public board.

I'm not being mean to you; I'm telling you the honest truth. No matter how "awesome" he seems to you, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with a 26 year old who wants to date a teenager. Get out of this relationship as fast as you possibly can.

My 19 yr old daughter would tell you it's bad if a 26 yr old was interested in someone HER age, let alone YOUR age. She was IN that situation recently and told him to find someone his own age. What does THAT tell you? Find someone closer to your own age. ENJOY being a teenager. Soon enough you will be an adult with responsibilities. Let him be a daddy to his children. You are way too young to be burdened with being a mommy. Yeah, there is seriously something wrong with an ADULT man that wants to be with a teenager. Seriously wrong.

Nah, it's awesome and great and "kool" and whatever else turns you on. Just do us all a favor and have your uterus removed because our taxes are high enough already.

Why do I think this is another case of someone creating a fake post to get everyone on the board riled up? If she is 17 and typing like she is 11 then she has bigger problems then just wanting to date a 26 yr old.

You want to be a moom to 2 kids at aage 17 because you have the hots for their dad?
The first few months in ANY relationship is always hot and heavy, how do you see your life living with him and taking care of his kids and having to go without most things because his paycheck goes to support the kids?
After just 2 short months and not having lived together and experienced home life with 2 kids, you know nothing about it, and I can promise you that you won't fall down dead if he's not with you.

Ok, I normally don't see anything wrong with an age difference between two people that care about each other. However, the only time I usually mean that is for example he's 40 and she's 30 or vise versa. I'm a 26 year old guy and I'm not trying to sound mean but there is no way that I would date a 17 year old. I mean your probably not out of high school yet and he's well into family life. He's old enough to do things that you won't be able to for another 4 years.

Exactly. My husband and I are 8 years apart, however we also both had plenty of adult time behind us, each had bought our own homes, had careers, etc BEFORE we got together.. We are BOTH adults.

9 years difference at age 17 is outrageous. It's like the 17 year old dating a 12 year old (and that is an even smaller age difference). They are in two different places in their lives and inappropriate for them to be together.

I am not sure why you all insist on wasting your time of this fake thread. This is the stunning intellect we are dealing with:

So.. you are 17.. but then in the same breathe you say you will be 17 in 27 days?

Okaaaay... sure, yes.. I believe you, in fact, we all believe you.

By the way.. I AM on the Internet "all the time" since I telecommute. And, I DO use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization, and so do the people that I know. Using internet slang/lingo shows your intelligence level - or rather lack thereof. I would sincerely hope that on a legal forum, where you want correct advice, you would attempt to show your maturity.
