i purchased a tv from a local electronics store over a year ago and have had nothing but problems. at the time of purchase i also pirchased a extemded warranty on the set. the salesman told a thing in the warranty that if your set ib broken for over 60 days they would replace it. now it has been over 3 months. i went in to the store and they agreed did all the paperwork, set up delivery for the new set. they also returned my old warranty and sold me a new one. the day before delivery i called and they said at the time of purchase that over 60 days in service was not active and they would not give me a new tv. is the receipt i have a legally binding contract? i did not have to sign it but is shows they returned my old tv and sold me a new one. my last question is when i purchased the new warranty i paid on a credit card do they have the right without my consent to charge back to my credit card? did they violate any credit card laws they have with visa. I live in Northern california any help is much appreciated.
