ParvoKills

Recently I unknowingly purchased a puppy infected with the horrible parvo virus. This puppy was purchased from a breeder in TN who promised that shots and worming was done. I have had serveral vets assure me the puppy must have been infected with parvo at my time of purchase. My question is if the breeder is liable for the vet bills and possibly the expenses I incur ridding my house and yard of the parvo virus which lives and resides for the next nine months here unless killed. Thank You in advanced for any help and answers given to help this puppy get the monies required for her to live a happy and healthy life.

Eesh. One question you need to ask yourself and answer: did breeder know or have reason to know of infection? Does this virus present itself/manifest itself in physical ways? Would the breeder have known or could it go undetected? Is breeder involved/mmeber of any of these pure breed associations that govern such matters? Do you know any of these institutions in Tennessee?
