What is the name of your state -Washington

Just a quick question...

If an order states that one parent is to provide medical insurance for he children, should that include dental coverage if not specifically stated or would that have to be added in addition to the medical coverage?

Just want to clarify, thanks a bunch :D

Dental insurance like optical, is not something readily available to everyone through their health plans. Its usually part and parcel with medical in acourt order (medical, dental, optical). Any medicaly required dental and optical that doesn't fall under insurance, like uninsured medical, should be split per court order.

In texas it doesn't. my ex can choose to cover the kids or not. he only has to provide medical and 50% of uninsured.
he's currently arguing with me because I took the baby to a emergency care doc and didn't have ins cards because he took them all (out of my purse!) and refused to get me copies, so they billed him direct. he doesn't want to file with ins, and i'm not gonna pay half til he does. ugh.
