NY. My husband and I saw a powerful, big name attorney in Nassau County last night regarding his upcoming child support hearing. He's too expensive for us, but he told us we don't have to give the ex's attorney the paperwork he requested in his Notice for Inspection/Discovery. Could that be true? First of all some of the paperwork this guy requested doesn't even exist. The attorney last night said just bring it to court and that it probably won't even be considering b/c NY goes by 17% less fica when determining child support increases. true?
