What is the name of your state? MO

Am I wrong to ask for a contract to be to be construed and governed by the laws of two states?

Certainly.
Am I correct in believing, that the contract to be construed and governed by my state (MO) because I do not know of the other states laws, but do know of mine even though they drew-up the contract and if so:

Are there disadvantages to saying their state?

Thank you!
