Hello,
I got married to the US citizen in July 2003 and applied for the adjustment of status I-485 in December 2003. I have just received the letter stating the date of my first interview – Feb 8 2005. Since on the day of interview I’ve been married less than 2 years I believe I’ ll be issued the Conditional Green Card . My relationship is felling apart and waiting two years to remove conditions unfortunately is not an option.
Is there any way to delay this interview till July 2005 (2 year anniversary)? Did anyone try to reschedule the original appointment?

Thank you for all your help

Sure, people reschedule their appointments. Since the process of getting through to the office is difficult, several people I know of have had their cases marked 'abandoned' and have had problems having their (legitimate) case re-opened. Sure would be a bummer if you gambled and didn't get a card at all, wouldn't it?
I suppose the 2 year rule is there because couples have a hard time making it that long?
