What is the name of your state?NJ

i have 3 daughters, 11, 8, & 6, the oldest decided to live with her father where the other 2 are with me. My 8y/o loves to visit with her father but the youngest wants no part of him, he left shortly after she was born(all 3 kids are my x hubby's) and this is the 1st time he's visited with her.

She calls my bf daddy, he's raised her as his own since she was 11 months old, and tells everyone that he's her father not my x-hubby. My x sparatically pays cs and only due to wage garnishment recently do i get my cs.

Is it possible for my bf to adopt the youngest of my 3 since the other 2 do not wish to be knowing that my x will no longer have to pay cs on her and that he would be responsible? Or do we have to be married first and for a certain amount of time?

A: I doubt that a judge would approve an adoption in your circumstances, but stranger things have happened in New Jersey.
