my roommate ran up my phone bill in high toll fees ($1000+) before she got her own line, my phone has no long distance (use cell phone). She has claimed to have taken care of it, but the phone companies beg to differ. She is moving in 3 days breaking lease. If this is not settled by then I may take her to court. First, is it worth it? Second what evidence would I need to supply?

If the amount you claim is sufficient to justify your time and effort of litigation, it would be worth it, but only you know the answer to that one.

Further, your evidence is whatever you have that supports your claim. And whether you are able to defend yourself against any claims made by the other party.
