What is the name of your state? Florida

I'm am in the process of evicting my roommate (just filed papers this morning). She is refusing to return my key (the ONLY) key that I have to a storage unit that I rent. I have removed all of my possessions and do not intend to pay for any more storage fees. My only reason for insisting that she return my key now is so that I'm assured everything is out of there by the end of the month so that I'm not stuck forking out even more money for this loser. If she cannot get her stuff out before she hands the key back to me, I will be more than happy to meet her there when (IF) she does go to remove it. HELP!!! What can I do? By her refusing to return my property is she not in effect stealing?

From what you've written, it sounds like you did a sublease with her(not your landlord). If you have a lease contract with her showing the terms and that that you issued a key(your property) to her that needed to be returned at the end of the lease, it would help.
