Hi Everyone,

I recently received a traffic ticket in New Jersey, and I have been directed to pay it through NJMCDirect. Before proceeding, I wanted to confirm if paying through this platform is legally recognized by the courts. Does it count as an official resolution for the ticket?

Additionally, are there any risks or legal issues I should be aware of when using this service? Any advice from those familiar with NJMCDirect would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Not only is NJMCDirect recognized by the NJ Courts the NJ Court system set it up and runs it. Most states and many local governments now make it possible to pay online and encourage citizens to use it. It cuts government overhead. The payment will count as a resolution of the ticket, but you need to make sure you use the system correctly. Take the time to understand the instructions and follow them carefully.
