What is the name of your state? ohio
i own a buisiness and several properties, is there an easier way to go about a seperation rather than an at throat divorce. i believe if i talk nice we can agree on a few things. if the both of us come to an agreement on what amount she will get will the courts let it be at that or will the judge over rule and make things as he sees it fair?

If you come up with an agreement that seems reasonable, there really isn't any reason why a judge wouldn't sign off on it.

Judge's rarely interfere with agreements regarding property settlements. Where they sometimes do interfere is with child support issues.

Make sure however that with any agreement you make, there are specific provisions for you to refinance any loans that have her name on them (to take her name off)..if you are keeping the asset related to the loan.

I just saw your other thread.....you really should have posted that question there.

You REALLY need an attorney.
