Hi, I'm a high school student who was absent for several months do to major surgery. Recently this semester i entered a class i signed up for(last year) in which the teacher gave a take-home test at the beginning of the first quarter of the first semester. I was assigned a tutor during that time to come and teach me, but the teacher who gave the test did not bother to give this to my tutor. I know that if a person was absent the teacher is required to give them a day to make it up, but is the teacher required to give me any time to make that test up? The other students had a semester too do that test if that matters any.

Any help would be appreciated and links would be nice. Also, sorry for the poor post, i'm short on time at the moment

Did you meet with the school principal and/or administration about this? What did they say?
