What is the name of your state? california
I have settled a case in mediation and have signed
all the paperwork 3 months ago. My lawyer is not
in my opinion doing his job. we call his office and we hear that he is having trouble getting in contact with the person whose job it is to cut the check. funny thing is the settlement is from 2 different parties. Are they both hard to get ahold of and there both losing paperwork. I find this hard to believe. I can't even get him to tell us if there is a time limit. He doesn't give a straight answer. He get 40% which is almost 50 grand, you think he would want his money. I think he has it and is collecting interest. What can I do. This suit has gone on for 2.5 years and would
like to move on with my life.
