Will I get compensated for this??? (Look inside)

What is the name of your state? - Illinois

Hi. I have a question, but I am not sure if it should be posted in here, but here's the situation:

We are currently renting a place so I can run my restaurant building. It is located in a plaza along with several other shops. About a few months back, a neighboring company bought out the entire plaza and they plan to demolish it in April. Evidently, I will have to move out of the space and find another one. My contract for the rental of the space will expire either in late March or April. What I would like to know is if I will be compensated for what is going on here. Is my landlord supposed to compensate me because of this and/or find a new place for me to run my business? Or am I out of luck and end up with nothing? Any advice on this matter? Thanks!
