We saw some website of real estate agents and even brokers, where they claim they will give 1% or more shortly after closing.
I talked to them they said they will not disclose in HUD-1, they don't need to.They said they will deal directly with us after closing.They can either give gift card or cash or credit towards appliances.
So is this illegal or its considered as mortgage fraud?
WA state allows rebates but not disclosing to lender is a fraud?
And if agents/brokers give cash to buyer after closing is that their personal business or could be considered fraud?
