What is the name of your state? NY

I signed a document including the clause (see quoted part). I designed trading strategies for a financial firm. How much leeway do I have in using the same/similar strategies for another firm??? Does it make a difference between those strategies that I brought to the firm and those that I learned during my employment?? Does it matter if I left voluntarily or is fired???
Any positive input is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I didn't get any reply yet. I punch the key and post the question accidently. However, nothing was there. That's why I cancel that thread and repost my question here. Thank you !
