What is the name of your state? Minnesota

Recently I have been accused of giving out personal information and was never given the chance to defend myself. It was written in my review that an employee told my boss that if you want to know what is going on within the company just ask 'my name'. I was shocked. This was never addressed to me and the result is a poor raise and a feeling of discomfort around my boss. After stating that this comment is untrue, my boss would still not believe me. I am not able to confront the person who said this to my boss, which I understand because of confidentialty but I do feel I have the right to defend myself.

Until now I really liked my job but now I feel that my job is at jeapordy because of what someone has said about me. Is there anything I can do?

Is there anything you can do?

Of course there is. You can spend Thousands of your own money to find out that you have no legal standing to sue for anything, or you can ignore it, move on and do your job or find a new one.
